Ryka means ‘born out of a prayer’. t is also the name of the daughter of Aniketh Bafna, founder of Studio Ipsa. And somewhere between the time a plot was bought as an investment in 2019 and the moment a home finally stood on it, the name became the only one that made sense. This home, too, was born out of a prayer.

The clients wanted us to make an experiential tile boutique where clients and designers could have an immersive experience.

They chose the name TerraQ to underscore the fundamental role of earth-derived elements in the art of tile craftsmanship and wanted to align the aesthetic of the store to highlight the elements of nature.
